Es reagiert mit Sauerstoff und bildet eine stabile und dicke Oxidschicht, die es in oxidierenden, neutralen oder schwach reduzierenden Umgebungen stabil macht. Aus diesem Grund kann industrielles Reintitan oft direkt in verschiedenen Umgebungen verwendet werden, oder es k\u00f6nnen Korrosionsschutzmittel zugesetzt werden. Allerdings ist Titan in der Regel nicht korrosionsbest\u00e4ndig in reduzierenden sauren L\u00f6sungen. Durch die Zugabe von Palladium zu Titan wird seine Widerstandsf\u00e4higkeit gegen Korrosion durch reduzierende S\u00e4uren und Spaltkorrosion verbessert.<\/p>\n<h5>Eigenschaften<\/h5>\n<p>Die St\u00e4be aus Ti-Pd-Titanlegierungen gibt es in verschiedenen Ausf\u00fchrungen, darunter Ti-0,2Pd, Ti-0,15Pd und Ti-0,13Pd.
